which is very fun!
While the pasta dough was
resting we started on the cheesy spinach cakes, we had to chop the spinach as
small as we could get it.
When the
cakes were baking in the oven we made the fresh tomato, basil, and roasted
garlic sauce for the pasta. Both the roasted garlic and the basil smelled scrumptious;
the tomatoes were perfect, all of that added together, magnificent! I loved
that the kids got to see that fresh, uncooked foods can be delicious.
Finally
we tossed together the hot pasta and tomato and basil medley, just in time for
the spinach cakes to come out of the
oven. I think altogether we had a
wonderful class.
